Private Billing/Additional Fees

Patients who do not hold a current Medicare Card will be billed as a Private Patient.

A list of our most common Private Billing/Additional Fees are as follows:

Short Consult < 10 minutes, Mon-Fri: $95
Standard Consult < 20 minutes, Mon-Fri: $130.00
Extended Consult 20-40 minutes, Mon-Fri: $185.00
Prolonged Consult > 40 minutes, Mon-Fri: $350.00
After hours: Sat (after 12pm), Sun & public holidays: $135.00
All new patients – initial consult: $130.00 (NB: S8 scripts / Centrelink forms / Workcover forms NOT available on first consult)
Commercial Licence: $187.00 (Medicare rebate NOT available with a commercial license)
Iron Infusion*: $145.00 ($110.00 concession cardholders)
Venesection*: $130.00 ($105.00 concession cardholders)
Spirometry*: $45.00
Implanon insertion/removal*: $200

DVA Gold Card holders are exempt of all fees and charges.

Our doctors are private contractors – fee charged are at the discretion of the doctor.

Consumables not eligible for Medicare rebate.

We accept Cash, Debit card and Visa/Mastercard forms of payment.

Consultation types are determined by the Doctor and the reason for the visit.

Some treatments/procedures may also attract a charge; a comprehensive list of fees is available from our Admin team upon request.

Cancellations

There may be a cancellation fee if we do not receive notice of your cancellation. We need 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel an appointment prior to midday or minimum of two hours notice for afternoon appointments.

If we receive late notice of your cancellation the fee may also apply. This enables us to reschedule the day for other patients.

A fee may also apply if you miss your appointment without any cancellation notice.
