Cooloola Counselling Services


Suzanne is a qualified counsellor who lives locally and provides mental health support services for a wide range of issues. She is now able to offer patients 6 sessions (at no cost to the patient), with the possibility of having a further 4 sessions, if required.

Sessions are conducted face to face, by video or by telephone, if necessary. A Mental Health Care Plan is NOT required. Referrals can be made by your GP, or another Allied Health Professional, or from a Community Organisation. Self referrals are accepted too, however because ALL referrals need to go through the Primary Health Network (PHN), please contact Suzanne for assistance in the process.

Gympie & District Women’s Health


Visiting on Tuesdays weekly.

Outreach counselling services:

  • caring, friendly and confidential
  • available to women aged over 14, on any issue
  • tertiary qualified and experienced counsellor
  • no referral required
  • no requirement to hold a Health Care card
  • no payment required
  • women who have a Mental Health Care Plan referral or NDIS Plan should advise before booking

Amanda Sanburg

Amanda Sanburg B.Pharm, Grad Dip Ad Educ & Train. AACPA

Amanda is an accredited pharmacist who works in the Gympie/South Burnett region providing Home Medication Reviews and Residential Medication Management Reviews independently, ie: not affiliated with any specific pharmacy. Her qualifications include post graduate diplomas in Pharmacy and Education and she has been an accredited consultant pharmacist with the AACP for 11 years.

Amanda has over thirty years hospital and rural pharmacy experience. She has worked in Aboriginal communities in South Australia and Queensland and continues to support the Cherbourg community as an accredited pharmacist. She worked for seven years in the Pacific Islands of Solomons and Vanuatu and has visited other Pacific Island Countries of Nauru, Tuvalu and the Cook Islands as a WHO consultant.

A Home Medication Review is conducted in the patient’s residence and a referral from your GP is required.


Pacific Sleep Services


Visits on Fridays weekly in our adjacent professional suites, room 1.

They offer bulk billed sleep studies and CPAP support and equipment hire under the guidance of their specialist sleep physician, Dr Alex Erdstein (via bulk bill telehealth).
